Buckhorn State Park WI Fishing Pond
This area is mainly set up for the kids with a short hiking trail called the Turtle Trail; which starts at the parking lot then leads up to an information sign that has the types of panfish and pond fishing rules. The trail goes around the panfish fishing pond – please practice catch and release. The two main features are a fishing pier and a large picnic pavilion with picnic tables. If you get the kids hooked on fishing, you can take them to the other fishing pier on Castle Rock Lake for the big fish: Musky, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Catfish, Carp and more…
