Directly across the road from Crystal Brook Woods is approximately 3,000 acres of forest land which is open to the public for hunting, hiking, and horse riding as well as cross country skiing. This land is owned by the power company and should be a buffer from further growth in the area for some time to come. If you need more land than that you can drive about ten minutes to Necedah and get into the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. You will have Hundreds of thousands of acres for hunting and other outdoor sports.
