It's known for the Colburn Wildlife Area which is about 5,000 acres almost 8 square miles of public land of the 36 sq miles Colburn consists of. Also Carter Creek (trout stream), Dry Creek, Buckner Creek and it just touches Big Roche-a-Cri Creek also a trout stream.
